Our History

"I was first introduced to minecraft back in September 2012 on MCPE, when I became fascinated with the game and everything you could achieve. I went on to be a consistent bedrock player before joining java in October 2021 for the first time, to explore the minecraft community. I named myself as HoneyBri and started my journey of content creation and games development.
With the help of some friends (RachelRabbit, Ducksy & more) we opened our first minecraft server named 'HoneyBriSMP'. This was a great server however sadly closed a few months after opening in April 2022. This server was very small but also quite successful with over 4000 players joining HoneyBriSMP in this timeframe. This closure made me realise how much we could achieve to provide a more entertaining server for the community to enjoy.
Spring 2024, I founded NectarGamingStudio in hopes to be able to develop and produce games for everyone to enjoy. NectarMC is going to be our first project however this has been long running with multiple opening date delays due to a wide range of reasons and changes in personal circumstances. I have big plans to produce a range of small games and in future between Minecraft and Roblox which will be available for free, for everyone to enjoy. Whilst working on NectarMC, we have been constantly coming up with new ideas and pushing ourselves further, going back and forth between the server and drawing board to ensure what we are aiming to provide will be well worth this long wait.
I would like to extend my apologies out to our amazing community as I know so many of you have waited for this project for so long, however I am really proud of what we have achieved now that the server is ready for release. I am wishing for a successful opening week and first year with NectarMC, with some grand development plans later to come. I hope you all enjoy what we have created and look forward to whats to come!
